haha no, the kitties are in one car, parakeets in the other -- we're not THAT crazy! We put a tree branch in the backseat for the sloth and filled the floor of the trunk with water for the snapping turtles. As for the cheetah, he seems content following us on the freeway, and the baboons are enjoying their own rental car.

We did a cross country trip in 1968-1969 from Poughkeepsie to Chula Vista and back (listened to the Jets beat the Colts in SB III on the way back up the East Coast). I swear mom had dad stop at each and every Stuckeys we saw, got so sick of those Pecan Candies.

Once they reach Murdo, SD they will be driving on the only part of I-90 we have driven on.?ÿ We went as far west as the Rapid City area then headed south to Three Surveyors and Some Other Guy.?ÿ Hope they take a few minutes to explore Wall Drug in Wall, SD.
Be wary; lot of crime up there.
I wanted to stop in Wall, but...We really can't stop anywhere or visit anyone or anything because of the cats and parakeets. It sucks! So many people I wanted to see along this trip! ????
But...we are going to try to get our asses up early tomorrow and go to Mt. Rushmore. The kid will stay here at the hotel with the animals and we'll have a small time frame in which we can go up there and back. ????
