Typical week has Wednesday as a minor day. Therefore, not much change for me. We will be back on it again on Thursday.

I shouldn't take the Fourth off.
But I will.

With dangerous heat this week, I am working in the field early, and working in the office in the afternoons.

I plan on taking off Wednesday. My office is on my property, so I will be tinkering around the office straightening up, filing, while smoking some meat on the smoker, and frequent breaks in the pool.

In the field this morning on a boundary issue. Tuesday morning an elevation certificate.

Thursday and Friday tie up some loose ends on some projects and preparing to get back on a 900 acre boundary that we have been pulled off of due to construction layout.

Be careful with this heat. Being solo, I am not taking any chances.

Our crews on plant sites are working Wed. and taking off Friday-Sunday. They are happy about it because they usually work 7 days a week.

We have a project that may require field work on Wed (grader/equipment may be waiting on us). That crew will take Friday off as the paid holiday if they need to work Wed. Everyone else is a paid holiday Wed. and back to work Thur and Fri. If the crew has to work Wed. I will comp them some how, paid day off later, time and half for their hours Wed. or some straight cash. Something to make it worth their while to keep the client happy.
