@firestix I work for a Heavy Civil/Site contractor during the week building machine control models for our projects and run quantities from our drone flights. I have a solo practice I run on the weekends doing physical improvement surveys and elevation certificates mainly. It was a slow go for the first year to a year and a half until a title company reached out to me because the surveyor they were using was being problematic in getting work done on a timely manner. I did find out at that time if you called that surveyor for a project he was quoting 4 - 5 weeks out. Since I do the work on the weekends, my turn around time is quick. That title company has referred me to a local attorney and I have gotten a handful of projects from them. I am hoping things can get back to somewhat normalcy to pick up some more work. It has slowed to near zero the past 5 weeks. I just had a project inquiry for a 21 acre parcel that was being sold. The front 3.5 acres was clear and the left line had about 12 courses through the heavy woods. The buyer opted not to get a survey. I guess it was a little much for a double wide on agricultural property. It was 45 minutes one-way to get there.
