Why?

One of multiple investment companies recommending a buy.

https://investorplace.com/2022/06/amazon-stock-price-prediction-after-the-split-where-will-amzn-go-from-here/

I'm not vested enough to where I'll be heartbroken if it does not reap the benefits I anticipate. ?????ÿ

The trouble with recommendations of this type is that about 10 million people got it before you and I did, and acted accordingly.?ÿ

That's part of what you do with stocks, plus looking at current market and economic conditions and their projections.

The horse's past performance doesn't take into account any recent injuries, being off his feed, or random conditions in the race.?ÿ Same with stocks

The Dow recovered somewhat last week to about 31,500. As I write this Monday morning the market is starting the week flat so we will see if it holds.?ÿ ?ÿNotably, the price of gas seems to have peaked - in my area at least. We will see about that, too.?ÿ?ÿ

Notably, the price of gas seems to have peaked - in my area at least.

Same here in FL. I'll bet they won't return to under $4/gal now that the Petroleum companies have fooled us again. ?????ÿ

btw:?ÿ still think AMZN is a good buy. (or bye-bye)

I'm in the LIVE stock business.?ÿ The best rule of thumb to apply is to watch me.?ÿ When I sell, the markets will soar shortly thereafter.?ÿ If I buy, the markets will collapse shortly thereafter.

That was very Mark Twain-ish, Cow.

The DOW ended this week at around 31,300 - up a couple hundred points on the week. That number is about 15% off the recent high. The S&P 500 is about 19% off its recent highs. Very low volumes of stocks traded, even lower than the low volumes typical of summer months.?ÿ
