Ford F-550 Flatbed Truck, Engine: Ford 6.7 liter V8 turbo diesel, 300 HP, Fuel Type: Diesel, Autoshift Transmission, Drive: 4x4, Overdrive, Spring Suspension

Was chatting with a buddy today who was driving something very similar to this. It only had a 12-foot flatbed so the rear wheels were barely under it. It had been owned by an electric transmission servicing company and originally had a specialized bed with cherry picker and storage boxes. He said it came with a 17,000 lb. rear axle. He also said it road like a boulder. Every little bump or divot jars the driver.

He uses it for miscellaneous chores around the farm including pulling a 30-foot gooseneck style cattle trailer and hauling two big bales of hay at a time. I might borrow it sometime just to have the experience.
