I don't know where they are from, but the same TransCanada Keystone XL pipeline is coming through Nacogdoches County and many of the landowners here are up in arms over it. All seem to be in agreement on one thing though, they say the company people are some of the nicest liars that they ever met. Many of the landowners have resorted to siding with the Sierra Club in search of any desperate attempt to stop the pipeline from coming through their land. The Sierra Club doesn't want the pipeline by claiming it will pollute the land or destroy habit and the landowners just don't want the pipeline period - strange bedfellows. I even heard some of the landowners kind of praise Obama when he stopped the pipeline last year, but when he began to crawfish on the subject when the jobs issue came up, they were back to... well, not liking him again.
Jeff, did you ever get my emails?
No Robby - I just thought you were out surveyin'.
I tried twice through your profile. Maybe I'm in your spam filter?
The opposition to the pipeline is coming from farmers in Nebraska and Texas. They don't want it. Unfortunately our President has clay feet.
