Years ago I did some work for an Albertan rancher in north central Oregon. He had ended up owning what had been a larger cattle feed yard outside of Hermiston. Turns out that my client ended up with the place as part of a settlement. The former owner had fallen victim to the old Nigerian scam and lost everything, including several million in cattle owned by my client. Sadly, my clients dream for the place fell through and I'm guessing he lost the money anyway.
