A CNBC article on what what family is doing in the mortgage debacle..
Evicted homeowners move back in!
Have reached the opinion that no mortgage should ever be sold by the ones who made the loan. To much room for graft. The Fannies and Freddys need to shut their doors. If a financial institution needs money and wishes to sell some it's debt, they should only be allowed to do so only with documented permission of the borrower, then there should be a 5% debt reduction on the remainder of the principle. Most won't like that but we must curb the use of money in hidden markets and encourage pay as you go type of economy. Looks like it is is going to happen anyway but if we could move toward it slowly it won't hurt so bad. Most people have not realized that our own government is in competition for the money now in circulation and also need to go out of the country to borrow more.

No, they would rather complain about the state worker who makes $25 per hour to lean on a shovel. Penny-wise - Pound-Foolish
I saw a report on CNBC that said legal challenges to how foreclosures were handled (and mistakes made in record keeping) could result in unclear title, and homeowners may end up getting to keep their houses for free. Regardless, it may take 2 or 3 years to get some of the foreclosures back on track. It's often pointed out that one of the reasons our econonmy appears to be improving is that we have tons of people not paying their bills and spending their money on consumer goods, instead. When that stops, and these people start having to pay rent again, it could be a big hit our economy.
That is exactly right,Perry
They would rather pitch a fit about someone else's collective bargaining agreement rather than stand up for themselves and demand to be treated fairly and go out and get an agreement of their own, that provides decent benefits and wages. Nooooo, to lazy and stupid to do that, let's just try to tear down what other workers have worked hard and fought hard to gain for themselves. All this does is help the fat cats at the top, they want workers to tear each other up and to do the massa's bidding for them. Hey look that guy over there has a crumb that you do not have, you are being victimized.... better run over there and rip that crumb from his hand because he is a no good shovel leaning $25 an hour worker, than has one more crumb than you do.....
Better not hold the real culprets to account, like the owner of Massey Mines that murdered all those miners so he could make a big profit.....nope that is toooo hard
much easier to go after poor folks on welfare and workers.... they can't fight back especially, if they are not organized......
I can fix out our government labor cost in a snap.... just out source all our civil service jobs to India. After all the American workers make far too much money and their benefits are far to expensive. There is no reason we have to have a Library of Congress in this country, just ship that sucker off to Mumbai. Think of all the
money we would save.
