anybody else getting Spammed by BNP Media?
really getting tired of it over here
I recieved an invitation for a free subscription to a "POB" magazine, which is what I think you are refering to.
I was mildly interested, enough that I clicked through to their offer. After wading through their form with multiple compulsary complete boxes, I find that unfortunately the free subscription for a printed copy applies only to CONUS customers. Although they did offer to keep spamming me with a digital copy 🙁
But I do wonder where they got my email address from - the 'old' board maybe?

Yes, I regularly receive offers. To three different email addresses, only one that I ever use in Survey related communications. Another email I get spamed on is only used for other totally unrelated stuff... their data mining goes rather deep.
There is probably a large "exchange" they participate in, I remember a few years ago getting an offer from them to mass market to "potential clients".
PS: a funny at my fingertips:
Peter,
The youtube video was funny but scary. Makes you wonder what could happen in the near future. I do get the emails from BNP, Professional Surveyor and American Surveyor. I might glance at some of them to see if they link an interesting article that was not in the monthly publication. I usually just delete them.

glad you enjoyed it.
Last year I made telephone requests to all of the above but now and again I get a slew of them, oh well, just curious.
