Hi All,
I am interested in an off grid property in Belize. I have a survey but can't figure out how to take what I see and be able to pin point the location on google maps or something equivalent or get some GPS coordinates that I can use to get close. I don't need it exact just as close as possible so I can go check it out. Is there a service out there that could help me with that?

Can you post a link to the survey using some cloud storage? You probably can't post directly here until you have had a few more conversations.
I don't know that we have any surveyors here who are familiar with Belize, but there may be information that someone can interpret for you.?ÿ I doubt anybody will use it to beat you to the property.

@bill93 thanks for your reply Bill. Here is a link it is lot 77 and 78. This property was probably a scam development as while it shows road access. The government would never pay for a road and its miles to the nearest road so would cost a lot of money to put one in. We are opening a resort in the area so are actually glad its off grid as we can use it as a getaway for our guests.

Any help would be appreciated. The real estate agent isn't any help. Their marketing is conflicting where they show it. We would of course get a survey if we decided to offer on it but if it needs filling ( and it probably does) the cost to do that would be a lot.

@bill93 I agree with your location. While there may not be any development showing up that doesn't necessarily mean something hasn't been done out there before. I worked on a project in The Bahamas and many of the clearings (20-30 wide) were already overgrown in just a few years.?ÿ
No idea what might have been done out there, but the good news is Belize may be malaria free by this year.
