When I type in setvar the response is, Enter variable name or (?)

I get Unknown command"SYSVLDG" when I type in sysvldg at the command line.

I am using Carlson 2012 embedded autocad. When I type in Startup at the command line it tells me that it is an unknown command. What am I doing wrong?

We are using version 2.52
