A friend of mine just accepted a job offer from this company. Does anyone have any personal experience with them?

Large Company and highly successful company.

They are based in Austin Texas and they do work all over the nation.

I used to work for Sam Hannah at another company many a moon ago.

Your friend should enjoy working there.

I did 11 1/2 years @ SAM (employee #4).
Great bennies, can't be beat on that. Great Thanksgiving meal and Xmas party.
All quality, modern equipment (field and office).
Will work you hard. Many jobs now are out of state (Texas).
If you can't cut it, they will let you go.
Sam Hanna has probably had more techs become RPLS(s) than any other company I know.
They lost the "family" feel when they got too big.
Have hired quite a few RPLS(s), PLS(s) (or whatever initials your state has) from around the country when things got slow elsewhere. That enables them to work in the respective states.

Seen a crew this weekend in Quincy Illinois, which is about 120 miles up the river from St Louis

worked there for about 6 months- good people, good company- couldnt handle the daily commute - 120 miles round trip.
