COAST SURVEYING, INC. is searching for Project Surveyors to manage transportation related projects in southern California. Coast was founded 33 years ago in 1981 and specializes in surveying (control surveys, design surveys, centerline surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, Records of Surveys, Corner Records), aerial photogrammetric mapping, and Right-of-Way mapping for public agencies throughout southern California. Our clients include: METRO; SCRRA; ACE; OCTA; RCTC; SANBAG; TCA; MWD; Caltrans; U.S. Army Corp of Engineers; U.S. Navy; numerous cities; water districts; and Counties. Coast has built a solid reputation by consistently performing quality services, responding immediately to client requests and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. Coast Surveying, Inc. is a Certified DBE/SBE/MBE firm and has 12 employees, 4 of whom are Professional Land Surveyors.
Any applicant must be an experienced Professional Land Surveyor Licensed in California with experience managing surveying and mapping projects. Applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, project and people management skills. Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Knowledge of and proficiency in Microstation and TerraModel would be a big plus. Current knowledge of local public agency processes and requirements is also beneficial.
