O'Dell Engineering is looking for a Project Coordinator in Modesto, California.
The Project Coordinator assists the Mapping Department Manager with efficient execution of projects that provide a quality survey work product. Responsibilities include assisting with the management of project life cycle, assisting with the management of department resources, assistance with billing and reporting, assistance with proposals, assistance with business development, assistance with operations management, and management of sub-contractors and sub-consultants.
A person familiar with land surveying, civil engineering, and heavy construction concepts is preferred, but not required. An ideal person will have experience with operations management, basic accounting, and project management. Excellent written and verbal communications skills is required. Excellent attention to detail and experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are required. A person willing to work on a progressive understanding of the land surveying profession is preferred.
