Autumn is definitely my favorite time of year to be out rootin' through the woods. After a savage Oklahoma summer the cool-down is welcome.
I did a lot of telephone work between Baton Rouge and Shreveport years ago. Your 'countryside' down there can really be "nice and peaceful". Hope you enjoyed your day!
