Survey Field Technician: Full-Time position
Wolverton & Associates, Inc. is a multi-discipline engineering and land surveying firm located in Duluth, Georgia. Our survey projects include Department of Transportation databases, Utility corridor surveys, Site surveys, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys.
Job Description:
Wolverton & Associates is seeking individuals that are looking for a rewarding career in the field of Land Surveying. This position is responsible for assisting the Party Chief and survey team in providing accurate measurements and details to meet all required specifications for accuracy and production in land surveying.
Job Duties:
Operating Trimble S6 total stations, Leica GS15 GPS receivers, levels and other survey equipment.
Adherence to all safety policies.
Keeping neat and organized field notes.
Clearing brush for Traverse lines.
Review data on a daily basis to ensure quality.
Strong communication and collaboration skills and a high aptitude for detail.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a survey field technician. They must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside in inclement weather. Candidates must be willing to work reasonable overtime to meet project demands. High school diploma is required. College degree or some survey courses is preferred. We are seeking career minded individuals that are focused on their professional growth and work well with a team. Travel will be required with this position.
