Draftsperson (Denton, TX or Jacksboro, TX + Work From Home!)

Crowley Pipeline & Land Surveying, L.L.C. is currently seeking full-time qualified draftspersons to work in our Jacksboro, TX or our Denton, TX (coming soon) office. Draftspersons may work from home but your presence is required 2 days per week in one of our offices. Overtime is required.
A contract position is available as well.

Main Duties:

• Manages survey projects and communicates with clients.
• Drafts linework from field notes or from field-to-finish.
• Drafts plan and profile alignment sheets for pipelines.
• Drafts plats and writes descriptions for all phases of a pipeline project.
• Drafts well plats for oil and gas wells.
• Plots descriptions from deeds and easements.
• Coordinates with survey coordinator on project schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinates and communicates with field crews.
• Manages data associated with each project.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years minimum experience drafting.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess a solid work ethic.

Preferred Experience:

• Pipeline Drafting ++++
• Carlson Civil Suite software. ++++
• Process static points using OPUS.
• Can use Trimble Business Center.
• Any additional certifications
• Knowledge of GIS
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task projects and correspondence.
