Only 676 feet more to go...

Plumb as it gets.
Less than expected and well within ACSM standards at the top.
And the superelevation is going according to plan.

Oh, btw...

whats that tiny little pointy building WAY up town.

Only the Empire State Building.
Soon to be the second tallest building in NYC.

And, third tallest, after we finish Tower 2.

And the building directly to the left of T-1 is T-7.
A stunning 52 stories and 752 AGL.
The runt of the litter.

So, imagine T-7 with another thousand feet on top.

Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT
shutter speed 0.5 sec
f/5.0
iso speed 400 which is nice for twilight
focal length 8.0 mm
I don't know how that was done. I presume by a camera push and run through photshop
photo was taken on Monday at 6:48 pm est
Daryl could 'splain it better and Adam may have the answer

Sculpture to be housed at Ground Zero

The sculpture in the article was produced by an artist doing work at The Crucible Foundry of Norman, Oklahoma. (I wish I had been sneaky enough to get a photo before it was shipped. Actually, the door is open on most days.) Honestly, the artists and the foundry produce "breath-taking" work.
