Don't have much information on this one, I think it's in Oklahoma. Trying to figure out what "WRM" stands for. It's not a section corner or BM. Any help is appreciated.

It is in Oklahoma, Woodward County. Located on the north line of a township.

It was common for the US Geological Survey monuments to be designated by the initials of the party chiefs.?ÿ This one would be the 13th in a series by someone with initials WRM.

That it is near or on a township line may be a coincidence, a convenient place to do a measurement, and no indication of an accurate cadastral point.?ÿ Although I've heard that in some areas USGS did some cadastral work, I'd hope they followed something more like the BLM marking conventions.
