Might be this guy going through the BBC version of the Spanish Inquisition...

Four hours in the chair over three days, but, they did invite me to the party and give me food and beer.

So, although they gave me a copy I haven't watched it yet. Can't stand the sound of my own voice. Weird right? Oh well.

They tell me I'm in it about three times for ten minutes total.

Cool! Wish I could see it. Maybe they'll stream it.

I don't know anyone that likes to hear themselves.
There is a local radio host who fills in for the big dog himself now and then.
He mentioned one day about driving home listening to himself and said he couldn't stand and will no longer listen to himself.

In one of my former corporate lives I was sent to a public speaking class. They videotaped us doing our speech (about 10 minutes) and then played it back for all to critique. Talk about humbling!! I got voted best speaker overall. How funny is that!!??

Was the interviewer the same guy who does "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous"?

It would be appropriate. You are rich in wisdom and mighty famous in the Beerleg/Surveyorconnect circles.

Congratulations.

Oh, btw

one of my crews does all the title scenes.

It's kind of obvious when you look at the title in the poster pic above.

It was fun to direct my boys spray painting, snapping chalk lines, and writing on the wall.

Even funnier was when the crew chief spelled "World Trade Center" wrong.
They edited that out, unfortunately.

Aloha, Scott:
Congratulations!

For moment I thought it was Richard Gere acting as surveyor! 😉

Done. As I was setting up the DVR, I saw you in an ad for the show. Hope you are getting residuals.

Any chance you can burn it to a DVD for me?

No big deal because you already starred on Broadway in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Can't wait to see/dvr it.

Probably have to dvr it because I have a soccer scrimmage with 8/9 year olds that
night. Thus year on my roster was assigned a boy who had a heart valve replacement surgery two summers ago and a procedure thus summer. He is cleared to play.
It is interesting in practices that he is the only boy who steps up for the 'team' concept and shows leadership.

When I met Scott in 2004, I thought he looked a lot like the former Boston Red Sox knuckleball ace, Tim Wakefield.
I always wondered if he got some grief from Yankee fanatics in the City.

Yswami, I look a lot like Richard Gere. 🙂
I tell that to the mirror al the time.

Aloha, Robert: You do look like him now that you mentioned it. Significant amount of our transformation occurs from the they we think of ourselves! Metaphysic of the day for you...;-)

I saw the commercial for this show a few days ago in the History Channel. I generally have it on in the office for some background noise.

I set the DVR last night to record it.

Congratulations Scott. You and your guys deserve it.

I'm glad the History Channel is still putting at least a few hours of history up on the TV, as opposed to all of the reality-type shows about junk dealers etc.

Can't wait to see this program and your segments in it.

Awesome! It's been great following your work on WTC over the years. I was just talking to my son about your pics as he was interested in crane operations for some reason.

Congrats on a job well done, I look forward to catching your interview.

I have the DVR set! I was in Manhattan last summer and visited the site and walked through the AMEX buildings. Had a nice series of adult beverages from the balcony of the World Center Hotel balcony just south of the site. The whole time I thought - there is no way I could work up there but I am glad you did. What an opportunity! Thanks!
