Boise, Idaho. This is a beautiful city. Probably the cleanest, most well-kept city I've ever seen anywhere.

hmmm. I always thought it was one word.

google says: "benchmark. A benchmark is a point of reference by which something can be measured. In surveying, a "bench mark" (two words) is a post or other permanent mark established at a known elevation that is used as the basis for measuring the elevation of other topographical points."

that does nothing to clear it up for me... all in the context I suppose

I spent a summer term at Kings College, University of London...but most of my time was spent here

It's a civilized land that lets you take your drink out into the street

I went by the "Hung Drawn and Quartered" but we didn't go in. I did visit a couple of pubs and I believe the Guinness there is better than we get here.

Truth be told, the Hung, Drawn and Quartered is a rather touristy. As for the Guinness, my tastiest was at the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. Cannot get a pint fresher than that.

This pub is at Hadrian's Wall and is built of stone reclaimed from the wall.
