New coordinates for CORS stations will probably have new ellipsoid heights. This of course will change the elevations on any point derived from them if an older Geoid is applied to it.

For some of the Cors stations that were recently used in my latest OPUS solution these are the new and old ellipsoid heights in meters - NAD 83(2011) EPOCH 2010 vs NAD83 (CORS96) Epoch 2002.

1572.155
1572.170

874.521
874.573

970.867
970.877

I will presume that the ellipsoid heights will not have an even shift in any area and applying Geiod09 to the NAD83 (2011) value will result in a different ortho height than before. In these cases you would be a bit lower. Hopefully, the new Cors data and new Geoid will result in even better results. As Loyal said Apples to Apples.
