listed on EB at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251438220672&fromMakeTrack=true

I have asked for dimensions and any stamping from the seller but no answers yet.

In all likelihood it's one of the cheap fakes out of India or Pakistan.

That is what I thought too.

On a side note, the reason I was on EB, I was looking for a "Transit made by Thos. Whaley & Co., 61 Warren St. N.Y." as called out in GLO notes of 1880. The survey is in some rugged country and I wondered how big and tough the I-man was.

Whaley on Warren St is a new name to me. Never heard of him and Smart does not list anyone at that address. If you find out anything about him I'd love to know what you find.

Looks like a non-functional knockoff.
