Went to the Topcon Roadshow today

Most of the presentation was geared towards machine control and construction management, as it seems this is the direction Topcon is putting the emphasis on for R&D and new product rollout. In the presentation they did not say they were going to throw surveying to the bottom of the list, but they did say they saw huge growth potential in construction management and machine control.
But the new office software/field software/instrumentation (both GPS and conventional) synchronization demonstration made the time well spent. I would recommend the day spent for anyone looking to upgrade or update any equipment or office software. My understanding is they have shows in Ga, Fl, and Tx remaining over the next week or so.
