The the hodgepodge of machine control out there, I am constantly asked by contractors that have purchased either TopCon or Leica machine control equipment, if thier stuff can run off of Trimbles bases.

I have no problem making a Carlson Surv CE work with Leica GPS run off of a Trimble 852.

I am stuck now trying to make a Leica PowerGrade system run off of a Trimble 852.

Here's the set-up.

Trimble SPS852 with internal 450 radio, with an external PacCrest450 base radio connected to the lemo port.

I can get good latency with the Leica radios, I even see in the PowerGrade Monitor screen, that the message is received, but nothing better than a NAVIGATED position.

I have tried all different combinations of CMR, CMR+, RTCM's,
