I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 and now it will not connect to my TSC2 using Windows Mobile.

- I have changed the setting on my computer to allow unsigned drivers
- I have Windows Mobile on the Computer
- I have it set to allow connections via USB (computer and TSC2)
- Computer shows "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" under connected devices
- Device Manager under "Other" doesn't show it either
- Cannot connect using Bluetooth either.

I have no problem connecting with Windows 8 or 7. I cannot find any Windows 10 drivers for this nor would I think it would require any as the TSC2 runs Windows.

Thank you for any help

Batman...on the data collector in windows settings there is a USB Connections selection I believe. If you open it there is only one choice and it is to check or uncheck something that says "Advance Connection". I think it has to be unchecked. It has been a while and this was on a Nomad but I believe it was the same.

I received an email about a month ago from our Trimble dealer informing us that Windows 10 and Trimble programs were not compatible.

Windows 10 is currently not compatible with Trimble survey software.

I'll be pretty surprised if the version of Windows Mobile that's in the TSC2 is ever supported by Windows 10. I would suggest transferring files either via a thumb drive or to a different computer running Windows 7 (or prior).

I don't have a problem working with TSC2's and Windows 10. I would need to some more symptoms of what happens when you try to connect it.

There is a setting where you can disable "enhanced network functionality" on the TSC2... Windows Mobile > Settings > USB to PC Connection... something like that off the top of my head.

Closing out of Survey Controller and rebooting the TSC2 helps as well.

My TSC2 works on my home machine with Windows 10, but just tried it here at office and it doesn't?

I love it! Windows 10 is not compatible with Trimble software.

Couldn't it be said that Trimble software is not compatible with Windows 10?

I also had the same issue at my office. A new computer with Windows 10 could see the TSC2 but the other one that upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 would not. I removed the Windows Mobile Device Center on the computer that was upgraded and reinstalled it with version 6.1.6965 and the program started to work fine. Hope this helps.

Got it to work, re installed Mobile Device Center and unchecked advance option under PC to USB.

Thanks much, I got it to work by going into Settings, "Connections" tab and "USB to PC". Deselect check box for "Enable advanced network functionality". Then Win 10 PC would recognize the data collector. It was quick and easy as soon as I did this.

Did anybody notify Trimble about this?
