I recently upgraded to R8's and TSC2. When defining a coordinate system, then key in parameters, you choose a projection, then key in false northing & easting, origin lat and central meridian, and Scale Factor.

The Scale Factor has me confused. On the next screens you can calculated a ground scale factor and define the project location.

I am trying to define a low distortion projection and need to get this scale factor dilemma knocked off dead center.

Thanks for your help.
