I'd make sure there is no junk around the edge of the screen wedged between the screen and housing.

First check

Check you have not disabled the touchscreen first, it is an option to do if you just want to use the keyboard for input.

I seriously think this needs to be brought to the attention of Trimble. I've had all 3 of my screens replaced. 2 within 3 years of purchase. I've heard many others with the same problem.

Trimble says there isn't an issue. I sure as heck think there is.

Any body else have the problem?

At $1000 a pop it's not cool.

We just had our replaced. Had the controller for nearly 10 years now. Was just getting difficult to touch certain places on the screen. Cost about $900. Trimble Rep got it back quickly too.

I agree with Kevin. We had our TSC2 for the S6 almost a year and the screen locked up. It started acting real funky and then nothing. It was on a 75°-80° day, and I was told a heat sensor blew. Since the replacement, everything has worked just fine. So far, the TSC2's for the R6's are working just fine after a year as well.

Except they haven't been producing the TSC2 for 10 years...

Getting Trimble to admit they have a problem is a joke. I have replaced four screens on four differnt collectors in the past year. All less than two years old.
