Hello
Doe's anyone know if the Measure Codes feature is available on the Trimble M3 total station? I have a pdf help file that shows where it is, but the M3 I have doesn't have the option where it is supposed to be.
Thanks
John
I have an M3, but I don't know what you mean by "measure codes". The version I have operates just like Access on the TSC3.

Hi
This video explains what they are. I am starting to think that this feature is unavailable on the M3, found only on the TSC3.

I'll take a look when I get to the office.
I think you can create essentially do the same thing by creating a feature attribute library through the Trimble office software.

Actually the measure codes feature is an extension of the feature codes library. Seems like it would be very useful for measuring cross sections, among other things.
There is a good example in this video
Starts @ 12:00 minutes into the video.
Thanks for now
John
Once you set up the instrument (station setup) you can find the Measure codes by clicking on the "Measure" button" just like the video. It doesn't appear until you have the gun up and running.
I am running Acess version 2014.12 on my M3.
