So I've been trying to keep up with all of the batteries.?ÿ ?ÿSeems like everyday one the of the batteries die on me.?ÿ ?ÿBeen pretty easy except for the trimble camcorder battery that is used for the 5700, R8, or MT1000.?ÿ ?ÿTrimble wants $120 per battery.?ÿ ?ÿWe all hate that price and have searched the internet and found lots of replacements.?ÿ ?ÿSome work ok because of the battery compartment and some fail miserably.?ÿ ?ÿI haven't found a good source for a battery that works.?ÿ ?ÿEach have a slightly different case that is always bigger than the trimble and don't fit in the 5700 or MT1000 (You have to slide them in and press a button to eject them).?ÿ ?ÿ Anyone found a good source or have any luck opening the case and replacing the internal batteries?

I have replaced the batteries in the past, but, the cases tend to break badly and easily.?ÿ Once open the re-cell is easy.?ÿ I bought watch repair tools a while ago and it makes opening the cases much less problematic, but, I have never tried one of the camcorder batteries with them
