This is a new to me TSC3 with Access 2016.12 and a 2.4ghz radio, I've used Access years ago on a TSC3, so I'm mildly familiar with it. I'm using the internal radio setting in Access, however it does not want to talk with my S5, it just says "Port Unavailable". Am I doing something wrong or could something be wrong with the controller?

Which data collector are you using now?  TSC5 or TSC7!    Does it have the radio installed? What is your current version of Trimble Access.

I have had this issue every now and then with both TSC5 and TSC7. A reboot usually fixes the issue and sometimes taken the radio module off and re attaching fixes the problem. It’s as if the software thinks you are trying to connect via something other than the radio itself.  Check your operating system itself for updates from Trimble as well. When the TSC5 first came out it happened more frequently like once a month but as time went on and updates happened it all went away.
