Sadly, I have not hiked the Grand Canyon in several years, so to torment myself I watched Street View on Google Maps down the Kaibab Trail to the bottom. I know every foot of the way so well. The surprise was at the bottom, by the Bright Angel Creek, where I saw this:

what A CO-INKADINK! to fuuny.
Hope they didn't pack it in on a mule or their backs in that soft pack. A lot of bumping to get to that trail.
And yes it has been 19 years since I last hiked the canyon. North rim is my favorite side.
There are no coincidences.

Yikes it was 43 years last week that I hiked the trail.
I wonder if they had the street view camera on a mule
That one I can answer: They had the street view camera strapped to a guy's back, and the camera bank was two feet over his head. Must have been really uncomfortable, being so top heavy. I can't imagine hiking out with that on your back.

Google has started using the back pack street view to document museum interiors
