Without much success, trying to do stakeout (SurvCE) with a QS1. Sometimes the instrument tracks, but no data stream reaches the DC. Sometimes the DC can command the QS to turn angles etc., but the instrument will not track/lock. Then, sometimes on its own the QS will just look up into space, and go back and forth until someone shuts it off. Has anyone else had similar experiences with these models? What's the secret to getting everything to work as it should? Any help/tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
ibenhavin

Thanks pdop for the suggestion. I haven't yet, but will try it next time out. I'm beginning to wonder, though, if the DC (Leica branded Allegro CX) has bluetooth issues because driving the QS with SurvPC (demo version) on a lapptop (Win7) seems to be much more stable. Also, Magnet (demo version) on Win7 laptop appears to be almost rock solid with the QS; but, we use Carlson Survey/AutoCad, and .crd files are all we ever use for points.
