I'm glad to see Topcon moving foreward... New products, inovations, and integrated solutions.
What this does, is it removes much of the tedius work, of field crews in the past, such as long traverses, sunspots, and in Its place, we have lots of gizmos.
This puts lots of pressure on educational facilities to provide the historical narative, necessary, for surveyors of the future, to properly interpret found monuments, and avoid the pincushion, which is often a product of not appreciating the monuments historical narrative.

Oops, sunshots, that is. You know, that's one of my complaints about spell check in this Android device... It does NOT know "survey talk".
This calls for a whole library of lingo, just for surveyors!
