I have three Topcon FC 250's. One is running Topsurv 7.0 and two are running Topsurv 8.0.

Been trying to upload a point file but keep getting :points are outside the geoid and elevations cannot be computed" error message.

Running Alaska stateplane 10 with geoid model 2009 zone 4.

no problem uploading the points to a FC 250 with 7.0 Topsurv., and an FC 200.

Only the 250's with 8.0 are problematic. First time with 8.0.....Any tips or advice?

thanks.

Daryl - hopefully you were able to straighten this out by now. We have loaded Topsurv 8 onto one controller that we use with RTK and not experienced any problems with the geoid boundaries although we have had issues in the past.

We are having trouble importing text files when our codes include spaces and/or hyphens. We also cannot add or create a code that way either.

Not sure if you know but Topcon now has a forum on their "Topcon University" site and I have been able to get some feedback from Topcon reps on that site.

Good Luck
Gregg
