I just got a new FC-236 and it has an internal GPS chip. I have been trying to figure out if there is way access the internal GPS in TopSURV but haven't been able to figure out a way to access it.
I also have tried to install the Magnet Field demo but I get the following error every time I try to install it:
"Installation of TPS Magnet Field.cab was unsuccessful"
Does anyone know if the internal GPS can be used with TopSURV or Magnet Field and also why I might be getting that error when I try to install Magnet?
Uninstall Topsurv after you save the activation codes. Then try the Magnet install. You should be able to use the internal GPS in a DGPS configuration
Thanks, I did have to uninstall TopSURV to get Magnet to install. Once I had magnet installed I was able to figure out how to connect to the internal GPS of the 236.
One other thing I hoping to use is the internal compass. Does this have any functionality in Magnet?
