I use the following tolerance settings for my Carlson BRx7 GPS rover:
Min. Solution Type: Fixed
Hrms Tolerance: 0.097 ft
Vrms Tolerance: 0.197 ft
Latency Tolerance: 3.0 s
Max Baseline Length: 15.5 mi
PDOP Tolerance: 3.500
What tolerance settings do you use and why?
I am on the same model (different seller) I do not recall seeing max baseline but everything is the same except I have PDOP set at 4.
Which is ridiculous because anything over 2 might as well be float.
EDIT: Which deep old woods, not near a boundary, I have done. You just set Float tolerances as tight as you can to still get a fix. (when not topoing). And I am using a base setup not RTK.
My Carlson BRx7 has the same setting....
