Got into Tenkara couple years ago. Japanese fixed line fly fishing. That is perfect for Tenkara fishing.?ÿ

I have a Tenkara rod I built for an elk hunt. We packed horses into the North Fork of the John Day river and I had set it down to release a fish when a horse got loose and busted up canyon. I went sprinting to cut him off and stepped on the rod in the process. They are perfect for dropping behind Boulders on little streams.

My small creek fly rod is an eagle claw spinning rod with the butt cut off. It's 5.5' and does pretty good in tight quarters.?ÿ
Had to make a fly fishing version after work???
