I used to have an intentional misspelling that was on every drawing I submitted for review. The checker would find that and quit checking. If you didn't give them at least one easy error to find it was no telling what hair brained item they wanted changed or added.
Years back I was cutting my teeth doing plat reviews for a government agency and I??d reviewed a plat submitted by a Forest Service surveyor in SE AK. He wrote back that when I publish the manual on style he would reconsider some of my comments. Funny how little things like that stick with you.
What I hate is when I get redlines back telling me I have misspelled 'aluminium' (just like the computer just did).
Found an error I had made five years ago on a survey plat just yesterday.?ÿ The description is correct, but, the north line of the tract is labeled on the plat as N 897' 55" E.?ÿ The true bearing is N 89` 56' 55" E
