in Maryland than I have noticed for quite a while now. Since late last week alone, there have been three ads posted which I submitted my resume for. It has been years since I found that many jobs to apply for in such a short period of time.

I am guardedly hopeful that this may be an indication of something, though not sure what....

There have been more in Portland, Oregon, too. Which is to say there are a couple a month this year. When times were good there were a couple just about every day.

I was looking to move up to Oregon when I was unemployed, but the only surveying jobs I could find were part time for HDR.

Portland area job market is still pretty rough but showing some signs of life. Residential real estate is dead and likely to stay that way for a couple more years at the least. Commercial and public works coming around. Keep watching.
