I went over there yesterday and clicked on the Strictly Surveying category which showed no posts since the day before. Only after clicking the sub-category of Tech Talk or whatever it's called did I see that there was a post there but I didn't find it that interesting anyway. That's been a major complaint for months and it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to combine those sub-categories, so maybe they actually think it's a good idea for some reason.
A couple of the posters over there seem to look down their noses at this site as a place for "banter" while that site is for serious discussion, but I've noticed in the Recent Activity there that at least half of the posts are in the P&R Lounge section and the topics don't sound interesting enough for me to spend the time chasing them down.
This site has its share of P&R but it's super-easy to just quickly check it out and move on or participate.
I'm sorry to say it but the other board is completely useless to me at this point.
I've been consistent in saying that the changes they were making were the wrong way to go. I'm not happy to be correct, but couldn't be happier with what Wendell has created for us here.

Good enough for your mother is good enough for me. It just was not clear to me, I considered it just another alias.
Noodles just fit with my imagined Avatar, not quite what you would expect on a professional board, but hey this is like family.

Some took offense to my rat avatar so I thought it was better to change it. 🙁
I also thought I should post a pic of the real me so people knew who they were typing to.
That really is me, in Hawaii. 🙂

Certain posters have opted to stay over there, and that is fine with me, one or two of them I won't miss.
It doesn't have to be one or the other.
I enjoy both boards, each for their own reasons.
I hope this doesn't become a "me and them" issue. There are several frequent posters that use both sites....
INTERBRAND INC.
On the same lines as Suzy Spammer, I've been getting e-mails from:
Interbrand, Inc.
555 Market Street, Suite 500
San Francisco, CA 94105
They want me to participate in a market research survey and have a chance to win a valuable prize.
At this point, they are merely an annoyance, but it could get worse.
I've been on the Internet a long time and I haven't gotten hit with a lot of crap like this. I think the main reason is, I don't participate in any social networks and never click on *BANNER* ads.
As I understand it, many others experience spam all the time.
What do you do to cope and is there a way to stop it without being a *anti*social-net-worker.
Thanks,

I absolutely agree, I frequent both sites, but for now this site is far superior, IMHO.
This is home now.
Maybe once a week i take the effort and patience to believe that navigation and organization will be better over there in hopes that i'm wrong about the POB; but, sure as hell, there it is again, as worthless to follow a post and read as ever.

I gave up on the other space too.
I did not want to but after they transferred in your old IDs it prevented me from logging on.
Maybe my new ID email was associated with an old ID there. I dunno
But one of my old Id's that I knew the email and p/w still fought me.
I have to request a new p/w every time for all three id's
I had 2 former IDs there ( Muddy W. And Robert H.)
c'est la vie
I can get on with one of my old IDs but it is not he one that I wanted.
I did ask to become an associate of myself. 🙂
They are anal "over there". I haven't been there since I found "here".
They asked my opinion before they went public on being beta.
I gave it. "you can't handle the truth" comes to mind.
They canned my thread and I got a rather scathing email about it.
Hey, if you don't want my nearly 30 year professional opinion, don't ask for it.
