Had a good chuckle today when we happened across someone else's delta point 3. For curiosity we shot the nail. We are 0.04'(I'm not kidding) lower. Oops. Tonight we set my Dad's old Lietz transit up and viewed a very cool moon. Pictures I took through the scope are sorely deficient. What we see when we look through the scope is much more vivid. All in all, a pretty great fall day. Enjoy the best time of year!

Been a while since I've viewed the moon through the scope. It is cool. And I agree, now is the best time of year.

I still "explore" the moon with a telescope. At high power you have to constantly be adjusting the tangent screws and to this day I am still fascinated that I am witnessing time and the movement of the Universe. Itƒ??s a reminder of the insignificance of Human existence with respect to ƒ??timeƒ?. 😎
