I am trying to load Geoid12A into my Ranger 500X running SurveyPro 4.5.2.

I cannot get the Geoid to show up in the list. I saw an older post that the Geoid12A might not work with this version of SurveyPro.

Any suggestions?

I don't really have any interest in upgrading my SurveyPro, as everything works very well right now, except for the Geoid option.

Thanks in advance

Jimmy, Geoid 12a will not work with 4.5. You can upgrade to 4.11 if you don't like 5.xx. However, with the new changes I'd highly recommend going ahead and running it especially on a 500x.

I will have to contact Hayes tomorrow. I need to have the option of using that Geoid. I don't have the extra cash to upgrade right now though.

There is not much of a difference between Geoid 09 and Geoid12A in my area. Luckily most of my projects use a localization.

Thanks for the information. I do appreciate it.

Works with 4.6. You have to create a new .csd file.

Now you tell me! No wonder I haven't been able to get it to work. I'm running TDS Pro 4.0.3 on a Recon and have been just using Geoid09. I figure at the short distances that I do RTK shots it probably doesn't much matter. I have been contemplating upgrading to 4.5.3 which I understand is a free upgrade, but haven't gotten up the guts to do it.

I'll backup Rundatline, I've been using Geoid12A on TDS 4.6 since it came out.
