I have an older Ranger 200T. I occasionally have to rest it to get it to connect via a serial cable to my Windows Desktop.
I generally have to do a hard reset. I have the "cheat sheet" that I downloaded a lng time ago, andit also has the soft rest which is the "shift"+"ctrl"+"on/off". I cannot seem to get it to soft reset. I always have to do the hard reset.
Is there a certain sequence that I have to push those three buttons?
Thanks in advance,
Jimmy
EDIT:
I found a soft reset option in the windows menu, under utilities I believe.

I have a Ranger 200. I reset it by holding the power button down for about 5-10 seconds. Not sure if that's a hard or soft reset.
