Wild t1600 theodolite and DI 2002
Does anyone know if I can get the theodolite to display the distance to 3 decimal places?

Just a guess...but maybe try setting it to METERS

That will get you three decimal places for sure, I can't remember on the feet, BUT I think you only can get hundredths. Disclaimer, I haven't touched a T1600 in 17 years.

You can get the DI 2002 to independently display to 0.1mm or 0.001ft out to a max range of 2km.

I have scans of the owners manuals for both of these instruments. They are over 10 mb so I would need to use dropbox to send them to you. I have not reviewed them for the answer.
