There was a post a while back asking about SUV setups. Here are a couple of picks of my recently completed box for my new Suburban.

Thanks...the more I use the table the more I like it. It's great having a desk to be able to lay the plan set out on.

My instrument man used to be a finish carpenter. He did most of the work on the box...not sure what he used to glue down the Formica on the desk.

Do you have a protective cage between the equipment and yourself? My biggest fear with SUV setups is getting rear ended and having those tripods thrust through the passengers. We use vans for this exact reason.. I want a few extra feet between the gear and myself.

It's hard to see in the pics but yes there is a cage in front of the box.

That's a nice setup.

I added them to my collection that I keep available for anyone looking for ideas. I keep a "family picture album" of our truck pics that posters share, and post a link to the public folder in my DropBox when someone is looking for ideas.

I can remove them from the collection if you wish.

Thanks for sharing

Nice job Beavers.

Jimmy, thank you. You will have to publish a book sometime.

Thanks for putting the picture album together. I looked through it for ideas before I built this one.
