Did you get the fancy picture of a beach on that "conference room table"?
Do you actually use it as a table?
There is a space across the street where an entire office of furniture is available for free, but you must take it ALL.
Table is nice, even if a bit small. The variable height thing is a plus. No drawers, what do you do with small items?
You will have less eye strain, and be able to open the blinds and enjoy the natural light, if you have the window at your back. This is something I also noticed in Cameron's photo of his office.
Finally, I've used the dual monitor setup with the laptop screen as the 2nd monitor. It was OK - certainly much better than any single monitor setup. But 27" monitors are quite cheap these days. Get two. You will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. I'm seriously thinking of getting a third.
It's dual use, yes. The net is down today because we have a meeting scheduled.
Thank you all for the replies with the ideas! I have chosen this one:
It's from Global Industrial (never heard of them). Hopefully it's not too bad and has all the space that I need. Thank you. Feel free to post for more ideas!
I have a similar setup but it's all metal frame instead of particle board.
Either one will probably fit the bill. I have a smaller desk that's similar construction
to the one you posted. It's well over 25 years old and has held up fine.
I'm a self proclaimed cheapskate but sometimes it's better to bite the bullet and keep moving.

That is one seriously sweet setup!
I am curious about the twin keyboards and the bat.

Flat surfaces quickly become cluttered spaces in my world.?ÿ That's just they way I am and unlikely to change at this stage of the game.
Worked with a fellow once who was the exact opposite.?ÿ At the end of each work day he organized everything on the desk top that was storable and placed those items into the desk drawers.?ÿ His was the only desk out of the 10 in that room with that appearance.
How can people work with such tidy desks? My desk only looks like that if I'm going on a three week vacation.
We do quarterly "Purge" events. Buy a case of beer and stop working at 2:00 to clean and declutter. It's funny the crap we accumulate for no reason. We also got everyone those Rocketbook notepads. I love them, take all the notes you need then snap a pic with your phone and it automatically sends a PDF of it to your email, DropBox, Google Drive, ect. then wipe the pages clean with a damp cloth and start over. They've all but eliminated the sticky note freaks.
hi jerry,
sorry for the delay
two keyboards - you are observant, i run a new carlson program on 1 computer and i still have an old version of autocad that i just cant get away from just yet, i have given myself 6 months to learn carlson
i took my father in law to the white sox world series in 2005 and he got me a commemorative bat for doing so, just lost him 6 months ago, great guy
I, too, like to keep my desktop clear as possible.
I've been accused of "tidy idleness" by people who consider themselves "messy geniuses".

So it's safe to assume this would be your preferred style of residence........?
????
The first step is acknowledging you have a problem, second step is deciding you want to get better ??? ????
Now that you have the desk and it's "old", it's time for one of these.
Reasonable price for a real sports car. ????
After 40 plus years in surveying, I refuse to be uncomfortable without reason. I have about 3 grand in my desk and chair. There is also a six hundred dollar chair for guests, about double the cost of the one I sit in.
My own comfort is important to me, but I don't work to serve myself. Whatever I can do to express that to my guests is worth the effort and expense. If you don't believe that, offer your clients a metal folding chair then settle into your top of the line executive leather...
