I am relatively new to Canada, live here since 2003, so for me it's hard to catch up with what the first nation issue is all about. I am trying to learn about it as much as I can. Being a surveyor in western Canada it seems important to realize how much of an issue it can be and have a strategy of how to act in sticky situation and more importantly how not to get into it.
Maybe I don't understand something, but how can the surveyors be on this land?
Can someone fill me in on that?
