Builders shutdown ends tomorrow, work starts on monday, busy charging up all the equipment....errrr I need wireless charging soon. Not leaving this web un attended and have a fire extinguisher on hand, but wanted to get it all done in one go.

I made a few 15 second survey fun / safety videos with the kids toys..... have a look here

Here is my charging station.

Have a good 2015.

The construction industry and most of the allied suppliers , close down for business from to mid december to mid January, it is mid summer here and christmas season, so is a good time to halt all projects, and send everyone on paid leave. Unless you are self employed or very senior, there is no chance of taking leave the rest of the year.

Not great for me, self employed, as turnover for december and January is low due to only half working days available and you need to pay bonuses and 3-4 weeks paid leave...... so you need to save up for this ..... but the good thing is that the ramp down and up to this break is crazy busy , so you can boost turnover to cover the lull.

Okay,

Where did you get the Playmobil surveyor? I've been looking for years.

There were loads of them alongside the lego stuff at a big toy shop at Cape Towns waterfront, loads of different types and jobs too. Cost about $8.

I remember getting my first playmobil dude in the late 70's...fast forward 40 years and its de ja vu B-)
