Just got this from two sources:

ACSM Now on Web Radio

Join ACSM Executive Director Curt Sumner at 11 AM Eastern every Monday on www.americaswebradio.com for an hour-long show about all things surveying. The inaugural show will air January 24.

Parker Davis Quik Stakes is the sponsor of the show which will oftentimes include interviews with individuals connected to surveying in some way, discussing myriad topics affecting the profession.

Questions and comments emailed by the audience will be addressed on later shows, and will help direct future content.

Each weekly show will be archived so those who cannot listen in live can enjoy them at later time.

To listen in live simply visit www.americaswebradio.com and select "Listen".

Gripe: I made two spelling corrections. The release mis-spelled 'inaugural" (on of all days!!) and "myriad", perhaps in an attempt to reinforce the view that surveyors are merely engineering technicians who can't spell.

WOW! That is huge. I'll be adding this to my Ipod playlist right behind "Listening to Cars Rust" and "Techniques for Drying Paint, Vol. 2"

I'd be afraid that listening to anything sponsered by Quick Stakes would lead to them spamming my radio.

You serious or is this just a smart-ass remark? Quite seriously, I can't tell...

snoop is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, enveloped in a ham sandwich.

It could be either, neither, or both...it is up to you to understand, but really...don't even try because as soon as you know his mind, the answer will be the same but the question will be different..the only possible path to enlightenment is to try by not trying, to hear without listening.

It definitely can't be any worse than that stupid NPR show that talks about nothing but pets and how to treat them better than your own children.

Let's hope they can find someone like Click and Clack, The Tappet Brothers, to put a little life into the show. Note: Being the top dog of a technical organization does not make one an entertainer and educator.

Have you ever had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Sumner speak? I found him to be very entertaining, your mileage may vary;-)
